Incredible depth and detail that opened up the Mass Readings for me.
Please please put it on a DVD..
Great introduction to the catechism. Left me wanting more. We need a explanation on every paragraph.

Few of us know very much about the Book of Psalms, even though it is read at every mass, prayed daily in every convent and monastery throughout the world, and quoted in the New Testament more than any other biblical book.
In this CD set, Dr. Bergsma introduces us to the Psalms, answering these and many other questions:
• Why are the Psalms the only book from which we read or sing at every Mass?
• What’s the connection between the Psalms and the Eucharistic Sacrifice?
• How do the Psalms speak to us about Jesus?
• How are the Psalms a “summary of all Scripture”?
• Why are the Psalms important for spiritual warfare?
• How do we handle those harsh Psalms that call down curses on people?
Listen and discover why, next to the Gospels, the Psalms have been the saints’ most-loved book of the Bible!
Enjoyable course, good lecture style and the right amount of humour. Excellent course on the Psalms.
Dr.Bergsma is a saint. I love all his works because he cuts through all the fluff and takes the believer to thd mystical city of God. His insight into the Jewish traditions truly reveal the spiritual depth and historical truth of Catholicism.
I do not like his lecture style. Snarky and juvenile in inappropriate places, especially when he recited portions of Psalm 22 (which angered me). He did the same with other verses, which was irritating and unnecessary. Where he wasn't being snarky, he sounded flat and perfunctory, as if this wasn't his favorite course to teach. The information delivered was fairly good for an intro course, but overall I felt disappointed because I would have liked a much better and more engaging lecture delivery, treating the texts with more respect.
I ordered these to gain a better understanding of the Psalms. I have heard wonderful things about this speaker. Looking forward to it.
This is a good study on the Psalms. It relates the Psalms to the life of Christ.
